Roberto is a phd candidate working within the ERC NASTAC project. He holds an MA in Comparative and International Studies from ETH (2020) and a BA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen (2018). He is interested in political development, ethnic politics and political violence. His dissertation focuses on the emergence and diffusion of nationalism with a focus on nineteenth-century Europe.
